- First Aid: Elements of First Aid at Work will be included.
- Reporting: Understand the role of a first aider and the importance of accurate and timely reporting.
- Life-Saving Resuscitation: Practise resuscitation techniques designed for infants and children.
- Assessing Situations: Learn to evaluate emergencies and prioritise actions effectively.
- Managing Unresponsiveness: Build confidence in handling fainting and unresponsive children.
- Choking: Learn step-by-step procedures to clear airways and safely manage foreign objects.
- Injury Care: Provide effective support for head injuries, fractures, wounds and bleeding.
- Conditions: Respond to asthma attacks, diabetes, sickle cell complications and seizures.
- Allergies and Shock: Recognise and respond to anaphylaxis, shock and other critical conditions.
- Burns and Eye Injuries: Deliver immediate care for burns and injuries to the eyes.
- Emergencies: Handle hypothermia, heatstroke and other temperature-related conditions with care.
- Serious Illnesses: Identify warning signs of meningitis and other life-threatening conditions.
- Blended Learning: Complete online learning before attending the face-to-face practical session.
