  • Reporting: Understand the role of a first aider and the importance of accurate and timely reporting.
  • Life-Saving Resuscitation: Practise resuscitation techniques designed for infants and children.
  • Assessing Situations: Learn to evaluate emergencies and prioritise actions effectively.
  • Managing Unresponsiveness: Build confidence in handling fainting and unresponsive children.
  • Choking: Learn step-by-step procedures to clear airways and safely manage foreign objects.
  • Injury Care: Provide effective support for head injuries, fractures, wounds and bleeding.
  • Conditions: Respond to asthma attacks, diabetes, sickle cell complications and seizures.
  • Allergies and Shock: Recognise and respond to anaphylaxis, shock and other critical conditions.
  • Burns and Eye Injuries: Deliver immediate care for burns and injuries to the eyes.
  • Emergencies: Handle hypothermia, heatstroke and other temperature-related conditions with care.
  • Serious Illnesses: Identify warning signs of meningitis and other life-threatening conditions.
