Course Description:
This five-day instructor-led course provides delegates with the knowledge and skills to implement, monitor and maintain Windows Server 2008 servers.

This course helps the delegate prepare for the following Microsoft Certified Professional exam: 070-646 – Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator, which contributes to MCITP- Server Administrator.

Course Objectives:
This five-day instructor-led course provides delegates with the knowledge and skills to implement, monitor and maintain Windows Server 2008 servers.
This course helps the delegate prepare for the following Microsoft Certified Professional exam:
070-646 – Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator, which contributes to MCITP- Server Administrator.

This course is intended for entry-level server administrators or information technology (IT) professionals who are interested in becoming server administrators as the next step in their career path.

Before attending this course, students must have:

  • A strong familiarity with Windows networking technologies and implementation. (see Course 6421)
  • A strong familiarity with Active Directory service technologies and implementation. (see Course 6425)
  • A familiarity with Windows deployment technologies
